Vaccine Responses of Children with Moderate to Severe Atopic Dermatitis
Treatment with Protopic Ointment 0.03% did not impair development of protective immune responses postimmunization to pneumococcal and meningococcal vaccines in children 2 to 12 years of age with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD).7,22,23
Protopic should not be used in immunocompromised adults and children.- Long-term safety and effects of Protopic on the developing immune system are not known
Only Protopic Ointment 0.03% is indicated for use in children 2 to 15 years of age. Protopic is not indicated for use in children less than 2 years of age.
